Youth Advisory Council
In 2021, MENTOR Memphis Grizzlies launched its inaugural Youth Advisory Council, comprised of eight young Memphians ranging from middle school to recent college graduates. Through bi-monthly meetings, bonding activities, and personal and professional growth opportunities, these young people have the chance to influence Grizzlies Foundation programming, helping shape everything from the Mentoring Matters Summit of Tennessee Youth Day to @grizzcommunity social content, while also developing as young leaders in their community. Most importantly, the Youth Advisory Council is spreading the message: recognize the influence of young people and appreciate the fresh perspectives they bring.
